Synch works between Macs, problem with Android

I have finally made the leap fra 2.3 to 2.6.1 and set up a MacBook Pro (OS 10.12.6) as a server.

I have succeeded in synching from my MacBook Air (OS 10.13.6)

However, when synching from my Samsung S8+ Android (8.0.0) i get the attached error message

It seems mac handles unicode a bit differently than Windows… I’ll have to create a new debug version, but it could take a while, as I’m out of town…
