Errors when importing cards

I'm new to Mnemosyne, and just tried to import a list of Spanish cards. However, for both sets that I tried I received this message:

UnicodeDecodeError: 'ascii' codec can't decode byte 0xe6 in position 335: ordinal not in range(128)

They I get a progress bar that says "Decompressing" but the app itself stalls.

Any suggestions?
