> Sorry, got it somehow sorted out. I changed the font again, did an internet search and found out that Meiryo font is popular. Gives me very readable kanji and kana with clear and compact English. Much better now. Did not realise you can not choose separate fonts for kanji/kana and English.

One more item. Selecting show "in two boxes with adaptive size" now doesn't adapt, stays fixed. I usually have one or two lines on top (front) and 8 to 12 on the bottom (back),
