Hi,

I have just downloaded Mnemosyne and like what I've seen so far.

One thing that's still confusing to me is how to activate/deactivate cards. I'm currently reviewing the vocabulary from NPCR (New Practical Chinese Reader) with Mnemosyne lesson by lesson. As I've studied these before, I still remember a large percentage of those words.

Is there a simple way to tag and deactivate those cards?

What I'm doing right now is go through the cards and grade all perfectly known words with a '5'. I have then tagged those words in the browser with the tag 'KNOWN'.

What I haven't found out is how to deactivate those cards.

How can I review the cards with the tag 'NPCR book 1' while excluding the same cards with the tag 'KNOWN'?

Hi,

While the underlying code supports a combination of activating and deactiving at the same time, the UI does not yet support this.

However, there is a simple workaround: rather than tagging with 2 tags

NPRC Book 1, known

use 1 tag which you can then deselect:

NPRC book 1 - known

Cheers,

Peter
