Hi
First , thank you for this great project
I am using Mnemosyne more than 3-4 hour a day and using mobile phone as a client only lead me to battery drainage.
I have an android nook book reader that based on eclair (android 2.1)
But Mnemosyne client even don't install (error parsing package )
In another hand mnemododo is not sufficient to my needs
There isn't any older version (even alpha) that work on eclair?
Thanks

Hi,

I'm afraid 2.1 is an extremely old Android version, and some of the libraries we use don't work with this..

Thank you for your response
.
I think repost this issue with another account , please delete that , sorry

Only one point , mnemododo install and work like a charm!
Is the main client need major changes to do this?
I know eclair is too old , but e-ink technology and more battery is the points hint me to use this old reader

Android has evolved rapidly in the five years since Mnemododo was
first released. Mnemododo was designed for Android 1.6 and it works
well up until Android 4.something (it seems to me that the precise
version depends on the OEM build), but it works far less well on newer
Android devices due to significant changes in USB interfacing and SD
card access, and also somewhat because of changes in the GUI to
support tablets and devices without physical buttons.

I know that Mnemododo is not as feature-rich as the new Mnemosyne
client, but it is more than adequate for reviewing cards on mobile
devices. I still use it on a daily basis. In any case, my phone is
also too old for the new client.

Just out of interest, why is it not suitable for your needs?

Tim.
