Spaced repetition with gamification elements

Hi,

Have anyone considered adding gamification* elements to Mnemosyne?

i.e. that you get points for doing well, reaching levels as you go through the things you need to remember, etc.

If not, can anyone recommend a spaced repetition website or app. with gamification elements?

Duolingo certainly has gamification elements, uncertain about degreee of  Spaced repetition. The combination looks interesting to me.

Probably the best example of an SRS website which employs gamification (really well, IMO) is Memrise. The collaborative "mems" system is quite fun and engaging, with users producing some interesting content with mnemonics/animations etc, although I don't know if any significant work has been done to quantify the benefits of it all.

Haven't heard of any efforts to gamify Mnemosyne, although with the plugin system almost anything is theoretically possible.
