Hello,

I imported a huge set (5000+) of anki cards to mnemosyne and it all works well. I also have the cards in this language that I made myself on mnemosyne. Since I discovered anki just recently, and I have been creating my own cards for quite a while now, there definitely must be some duplicates here and there. I wanted to find them and delete them but couldn't. First, when I activate both sets (my cards and anki) and try to find the duplicates it says it found 40 of them but there is no tag on either mine or anki cards. Then I tried activating both sets and sorting the cards according to the question but it also did not solve the problem as anki cards are put first and then my cards (or the other way around) but they are not mixed, that is first it shows me one set from A-Z, and then it starts again from A-Z in the different set. Is there anything I can do to solve this problem? Or is it because it's anki cards and they are a type of cards on their own, that it will be impossible to mix them with other, native mnemosyne cards?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

By design, Mnemosyne only looks for duplicates within a certain card type, as otherwise you would have false duplicates with multiple languages, e.g. house - maison and house - casa.

Sorry,

Peter
