I just noticed my backups dir is empty.  I do my own backups so this isn't a huge issue, but wondering if this is indicative of anything.  My config.py is set to 10 backups.

Hi,

Are you sure you are looking in the right directory, especially if you work
with USB keys, or custom directories?

A backup should be created when you open, close, sync a database or when the
day rolls over.

Also make sure you have write permissions to that directory. Perhaps try
deleting the 'backups' directory.

Cheers,

Peter

Still nothing - I deleted the backups folder and nothing has been created.

The main directory is not the normal ~/.mnemosyne - it's c:\Mnemosyne2 which I use for reasons that aren't important.   Should the backup be in that dir, or somewhere else?

Ah, maybe this is it...

I see I DO have a $HOME/Mnemosyne/backups dir with "recent" stuff in it.  I guess that's where it's all going.

Thanks!
