I had downloaded Mnemosyne on Windows 10. It works great, and I wanted to see the code and maybe try some things out with it. I then built Mnemosyne according to the README instructions on Ubuntu and although I can see the options tab with the icons (the one that has the options "Add cards" etc.), the one above it, where I can install plugins etc. doesn't show up. I downloaded the Mnemosyne package through apt-get and I got the same results, although the version I got from apt-get seemed to be the 2.4 version., even after updating.

Hi,

You could try upgrading and/or downgrading the PyQt libraries, but if the problem also occurs with the official Ubuntu Mnemosyne package, I would suggest contacting the Ubuntu developers. (We don’t make distribution-specific packages here).

Cheers,

Peter
