2.4 space bar needs focus

OS X 10.11.6 (El Capitan)

In Mnemosyne 2.3.6, when I execute the following steps:

 1. Display the question of a new card (when the program starts up, or a previous card is completed)
 2. Switch to another window and interact with it
 3. Switch back to Mnemosyne by clicking on it
 4. Press the space bar

the answer is shown.

In Mnemosyne 2.4, I have to insert another step:

 3a. Press Tab so that the "show answer" button gets focus

Otherwise nothing happens when I press the space bar.

I do this dozens of times every day (I store chess opening positions in cards, and when one comes up I quickly play through the line in a separate chess program), so it is a noticeable amount of extra "work".

Of course it is not incredibly onerous, but the change was unintentional and easy to fix, it would be nice to revert to the old behavior.

Thanks for the great program. I have over 11000 cards accumulated over the course of more than five years.

I’ve also observed this under Windows. It’s on my todo list to check whether there’s anything I can about this, or whether it’s a Qt bug.
