How to insert unformated text in Mnemosyne 2.7.1 / Google text to speech doesn't work for Icelandic language

Hello Peter,

I noticed that text copied from clipboard into Mnemosyne keeps its formatting after I upgraded to version 2.7.1. Is there any way to paste just plain text?

Also Google text to speech doesn't work for Icelandic language. It works without problem for English. Do you have any idea why?

It will look like it’s keeping its formatting, but it’s actually not (try e.g. a preview of the card). This behaviour was actually also present pre-2.7.1.

It sounds horrible, though…

Yes, Google TTS for Icelandic is really horrible :-( But I understand there is nothing you can do about it.
