Problems with sync

I downloaded the new app but, when I try to sync it, it always says inmediatly: "Could not find server"

Does anyone know what to do?

Hi,

 

Some things to try:

 

·         Make sure that Mnemosyne is running on your desktop and that you have the correct IP address, port, username and password

·         Make sure your firewall and router do not block Mnemosyne

·         Make sure the wifi on your phone is turned on

I am also having trouble syncing with the server. I have been using the app for several months. However, last week I stopped being able to sync. The problem occurs with both my laptop and desktop, so I don't think its a firewall issue on my end.

Hi,

Another factor in the equation is your router. Has anything changed there?

What error message did you get?

Did you change anything else? Configuration settings, new Mnemosyne versions, ...
