Just updated the Programm and now are several thousend card gone?

Hi I just downloded and installed the latest version of this Programm because I thought this would be nessisarry to conect it with the android app.

After installing the Program and starting it, several cryptic error messages appeared and the progman did not lounch in the costumaised state I left it this morrning, and several thousend card are just gone, i have had about 10.000 Portugese-german and about 3000 türkish-german, now it is only about 5000 of the portugese ones.

Sorry for the bad writing Im too stressed to look up the wcorrect spelling of all those english words.

Relax, these cards are probably still there, but probably not in the location where Mnemosyne expects them.

 

Did you save your cards in multiple databases/files in different locations? If so, you can also open them through File-Open. Mnemosyne looks for them in a standard location, but if you have saved them elsewhere, it will need you to tell it where they are.

 

A screenshot of the of the error message would also be helpful.
