opening shared flash cards

Hi. I'm new here and new to mnemosyne...
I'm having trouble opening a series of flash cards I've downloaded
from the website, http://mnemosyne-proj.org/card-sets
I've saved and run the mnemosyne software soccessfully. It works and I
can creat new cards. I've also saved the barrons GRE & essential words
as well as Spanish cards. BUT the problem is that while going to
'file' and then 'open' to open the downloaded flash cards, the
software is unable to read them...
I have apple laptop with mac osx
Please help me out find the way to use the shared cards...

Have you tried importing instead of opening?
