Synchronisierung

Hallo,

ich benutze Mnemosyne zum ersten Mal, und ich hab Probleme, die Datenbank meines MacBook (macOS 10.12.6, Mnemosyne 2.6) mit der Datenbank auf dem Smartphone zu synchronisieren (Android 8.0.0, Mnemosyne ). Es wird folgende Fehlermeldung angezeigt: "Timeout when trying to connect to server!" Das MacBook hatte ich sowohl über LAN als auch über WLAN verbunden. Für Hilfe bin ich dankbar!

ich nutze Mnemosyne 2.6 auf einem MacBook mit dem Betriebssystem macOS 10.12.6. Beim Synchronisieren mit einem Andoid-Smartphone wird folgende Fehlermeldung angezeigt: Timeout when trying to connect to server. Was ist die Ursache? Was kann ich tun? Herzlichen Dank für eure Hilfe!

Hi,

Make sure there's no firewall on your laptop or on your router blocking the connection. It's best to start with both machines on the same network. Also, double check that the sync server is running on your laptop and that the IP address you filled out in Android match.

Hi Peter,

thanks a lot for your answer. I deactivated the firewall on my MacBook. And this was the solution! :)
