Problem: The Tag_Tree in Browser screen occupies only 50% of screen height thus, User have to scroll a lot.
My suggestion ( pls see Att ) emulates what already exists on the 'Activate" screen: user can drag the Splitter between top and bottom portions of the screen, allocating more space to the Top or Bottom area.
So, I suggest to implement the same Concept in Browser; and in addition: 1. Shrink the wide space ( as shown in my Attachement ) between Tags and Card types; maybe even removing the line "having any of these tags" . 2. Do not cover the Card types area completely - leave the TOP line visible ( for new users ). 3. Save the Last Expanded tree so that when User comes back, he would not need to drag the Splitter line again.
PS. 4. Does anyone see this Concept already implemented in Win-XP or Win-8 ? 5. This post has been posted in Suggestions website but without an Att't.

Hi Vit,
There should already be a splitter in the location you request: if you
mouse over, you should see the cursor change. If you don't see this, I
suggest completely uninstalling Mnemosyne (not your databases of
course) and reinstalling. Also, splitter positions should be saved
(but make sure you have the latest version).

Thank you, Peter -- I found it ! I have been trying to grab the Top edge of Dividing area .... One more very useful tool found; more to be uncovered :-)
