Startup error message in Windows 7

Mnemosyne worked fined under XP,  but I've been unable to get the program to start under Windows 7.

I downloaded a fresh copy of Mnemosyne, installed it without incident, but when I click on the executable, the following
error message appears.

An unexpected error has occurred.
Pleas forward the following info to the developers:

Is this a known problem, and is there a solution?

It seems you're trying to create your data directory inside the program directory, where it's not unsurprising that you don't have write permission.

Not really sure what caused this, but try deleting C:\users\peter\appdata\roaming\mnemosyne\config and try again.
