2.3.5 for Mac. Can't change card type

Yesterday I succesfully dowloaded and started using ver 2.3.5 for Mac. After 24 hrs uses I have noticed a couple of issues: 

1. In editing a card mode the system allows changing card-type. But, after hitting OK, nothing really happens to card type, it remains what it was before my edit-effort.  (I often start of by learning a language passivly, from the difficult language to the one I know well. After a while I just change card-type from "Front to back" to "Front to back and back to front"

-  In the "Browse cards" with Ctrl-click the card change takes place

2. The tip of the day turns up every now and then, even if I unselected "Show tips on startup"

3. The "About Mnemosyne" sometimes takes very long to show. 

Other than these issues: Works excellent. (PS I am not synching to Android so I haven't tested that)

I’ve reproduced issue 1 on Windows, so that’s a bug that will be fixed in the next release.

 

For issue 2, are you sure you’re referring to tips that appear at start-up? Mnemosyne will also give periodically other tips, not at start-up, and these are not affected by that setting.

 

3 seems like a Qt specific bug on Mac, but luckily it’s not a crucial feature J

Hi. I have experienced issue 1 on Ubuntu with mnemosyne 2.3.5.  It's quite frustrating since I sometimes add cards with the wrong type, and changing it isn't possible, so I have to delete the card and add it again.
