Hi Everybody,

I wasn't very cautious making backup copies of my cards. I clicked too quickly and saved some files on my pendrive. The result is Mnemosyne doesn't work withouth the pendrive plugged in. There's only an illegible error message (setting program to english doesn't help).  When the pendrive is in, everything works perfectly. I tried to import files from pendrive back to my computer using "import" option from pull down menu but with no result. The files I got on pendrive are in the following formats - .db_media (an empty folder), .cards and .db-journal.

Anyone can help?

Hi,

First upgrade to the latest version, then just copy the database files to your Mnemosyne data directory on your harddrive (typically C:\users\jacek\appdata\roaming\Mnemosyne) and start Mnemosyne. Using file - open, you can then select the database on your hard drive.

Cheers,

Peter
