Error 1114

When trying to run the version 2.5 of Mnemosyne, I get the following error message

"Load Library failed with error 1114, A dynamic link library (DLL)initialization routine failed.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but get the same message.

Does anyone know what could be wrong here?

In any case, you can also try the following tips from our download page http://mnemosyne-proj.org/download-mnemosyne.php :

If you run into problems, especially on Windows 7, make sure to have the latest video drivers and Windows updates, including these libraries (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145) , and uninstall Mnemosyne before installing again. Additionally, if you see a black screen, start Mnemosyne with the --qt-opengl=desktop command line argument.

The procedure in this youtube video worked for me:

Basically right click on your desktop, Click "Configure Switchable Graphics". Choose "All Applications" then "Add Application" and add the Mnemosyne executable, then change power setting to "High Performance" and hit Apply
