Next Meeting - 29th September

Hi everyone,

The next meeting is 4 weeks from yesterday (Monday). I have reset the
attendance list and updated https://mlug-au.org. Here's the URL for the
online meeting anyway: https://meet.jit.si/mlug-au

We have 1 talk scheduled, so there is room for one more if anyone else
has something they'd like to share.

Do put your name on the attendance list (on the website) if you'd like
to have an in-person meeting again this month. I book the venue once we
have 4 names: if you find you're the 4th person to register then drop me
or the group an email so I know.

Would anyone be interested in a talk about Meshtastic?

- It's a long-ish range open source text messaging network using the 915MHz band using cheap LoRa radios.

It won't be an in-depth talk, as I'm still learning this myself.

Thanks for offering this! I've put you as 2nd talk in https://mlug-au.org. Sorry
for the delay - things have been a bit hectic for me this last week.

While I'm here, can I remind people to put their name on the attendance list (on
the website) if they expect to be there. We have 3 names and I only feel
emboldened to book the venue once we get to 4.

There being 4 names on the list, I booked the GNH dining room for the 29th
September, 2 weeks from tomorrow.

We do now have 2 talks.

I booked for 6 people so for my own peace of mind can anyone else intending to
come please put their name on the attendance list.

Hi Everyone,

Next meting is this coming Monday, 29th September. We have 6 people
expecting to come at this stage and the venue is booked.

We have 2 talks scheduled: Zak has promised he will finally give us his
talk on "Containers" and Cameron is giving us a talk on the "Meshtastic"
radio network.

So we know when everyone who's coming has got there, will anyone else
