Hi, I am preparing this projects for a group of kids, but I am struggling with it, I am using the webcam of my laptop and when I move my face, the sprites (eyes and nose) move but never they put right on my face. I seen like the coordinates they are taken are not correct. I am not using the sign in option, I am using the try one. Should I be registered to make this work.? Thanks

The pretrained models are pretrained - which means you can't train them yourself or modify their behaviour with training data. As a result, signing in won't change how they behave, which is why you don't need to log in (whether with "Try it now" or your own user account) to use them.

Can you provide an example sb3 project file that demonstrates the problem you're having, please? (Obviously you'll need to include the webcam image as your background in the project. I've attached an example to help get you started. Download it, then go to https://machinelearningforkids.co.uk/scratch3/ to open it)

Kind regards

Hi! I'm trying to do some facial recognition projects, but am finding the model only sends the sprite to 0,0 each time. I tried the einstein project attached here as well but the same result - is the model still working?

Cheers,

Mark.

Sorry about this!

The model was broken by the change I pushed last night - because the new version of Tensorflow I upgraded to breaks the faceapi library

I'll revert the Tensorflow version change now to get this working again. Sorry!

Kind regards

This should be working again now - you may need to clear your browser cache to pick up the latest version of Scratch.

Raised https://github.com/IBM/taxinomitis/issues/354 to track the proper fix for this that will allow the current version of Tensorflow to be restored.

Hi,

My students are working on two different projects
1. Make me happy
2. Face Finder

They are following the instructions in worksheet and when they click on "Train New Machine Learning Model" They receive this error message

No Watson credentials have been setup for training text project...

I am totally blank please help.

There is an FAQ at https://machinelearningforkids.co.uk/help that explains this message in more detail
