Hi all,

I've updated the Public address under the HTTP protocol to a new domain name. However, the Base URL for streams (under Embed) is not updated and still shows the old domain name previously configured as public address.

Also, the drop down menu under "Use base URL" often shows 3x the same domain name. In my case 3x the old domain name.

How can I ensure the old public address is fully updated to the new public address?
Thank you for the support!

Regards,
Bart

Hey Bart,

Apologies for being a tad slow. IBC2025 came in between and has slowed down our response time..

Hmm, I think you're hit by an attempt to make things easier on our interface design. Though we are not happy with it and will change it in the (hopefully) near future. The interface attempts to save/store the working connection address and use/provide that. but it's definitely not making things easier.
What I would recommend is making a configuration save, (then make a copy in case things go wrong) and open them through a text editor. You should find a field:
"ui_settings":{"HTTPUrl":"http://DOMAINHERE/"
I suspect the "HTTPUrl":"http://DOMAINHERE/part is showing the old domain name. You can delete both values (make sure to remove the "," as well as the JSON should be valid. When in doubt take the entire config and run it through a json verification tool such as  https://jsonlintpro.com/

Removing it should reset that configuration and take the newer settings.

Best,

Hi Balder Vietor,

Thank you for your elaborate response, this is much appreciated.

I will try the steps you describe. Everything works, it was just that I want everything to "look" correct.
Looking forward to a future release that might have the fix!

Regards,
Bart
