v3.8 fails to check if there is new version.

Hi. After installing 3.8, Version check does not work

Hey!

Hmm, that should take about 5 seconds and then change. I assume you've given it a little bit of time? 

It should've definitely either gone to success + status or a failure, not just checking indefinitely. Looking at a clean install it does change, though a bit later than I would like.

Could you ping `releases.mistserver.org` ? That's where the call is going, maybe it's unreachable for you?
