Hi,

We are trying to assemble the Legacy v3.2 DAQ using the github PCB files. We have been unable to source the 12 pin - 32.7kHz clock IC, as it appears to be obsolete. All updated versions of this component use a different footprint that does not match the original PCB and we have already ordered our PCBs.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to where we might be able to find this part, or a solution as to how we might proceed?

Thank you

Hi Ian,
The 32.7 KHz clock is one of the most commonly used clock frequencies in electronics. I will see if I can track down a drop in replacement but you likely could also just wire up any 32.7 KHz clock IC sourced from Digikey or Mouser.

Okay, thank you!

We weren’t sure because the new footprint is quite different from the 12pin IC used on the original pcb.
