Hello,
In Mininet-WiFi I am exploring the problem related to MAC Address assignment.I define MAC Address to my Stations and APs. The issue is that when I define a MAC Address (for e.g. 00:00:00:00:01:09) for my  AP Interface, it is not assigned according to that but changed randomly to any other MAC Address when I check by ifconfig command.

Are there any list of available MAC Addresses reserved for Stations and APs in Mininet-WiFi? If so, can you provide those available MAC Addresses?

Need guidance/suggestions for this problem?

Hi,

There is no list of mac addr supported by the virtual nodes and there is no limit imposed by mn-wifi in this regard.

Hello
Thanks for your response.

Can you then have a look into the attachments, which clearly highlight the problem I am facing. Actually the rsu1-eth2 interface is connected with the controller and my Controller is supported via RYU-API

Is that mac address starting with 99 a unicast mac address?? I don't think so... you can't even assign that mac address to physical network cards.
