Beaver's Digest (OSU) covering the actual beavers

Beaver's Digest is a student-run magazine at OSU. Liam Smyth wrote an article about beavers in Corvallis (with a lovely illustration by H. Beck)

Smyth interviewed John Stevenson, a doctoral candidate for the Dept. Fisheries, Wildlife & Conservation Sciences. My favorite quote:

"...we want to think of beavers as little restoration-Roombas that we can set loose to clean up degraded streams,..."

In 2015, when I worked at OSU, I was an advisor to the student (Jodie Delsere) who took the initiative to start Beaver's Digest. This article makes me proud of the magazine's legacy.

We've had some great beaver activity at Starker Arts Park the last year and half.  The last few months they've been more visible in the area near the parking lot.  It's been so exciting.
