MSMoneyQuotes UK version

I am still having a problem getting any quotes for funds. I have entered the instrument ID for each of them as given using Gaier financial instrument search, but get the response 'Symbol not found on MSN Money'.
eg BNY Mellon Real Return Inst W Acc entered ap4cec as the symbol in Money

      FTF Clearbridge UK Equity Income W Inc entered ap8jhw as the symbol in Money

and many more

Can anyone sort me out please?

If you put   F00000OTTB  as the Symbol in MS Money and, and then in Symbolmap.csv put F00000OTTB and ap4cec in columns 1 & 2 respectively it should work.

For some odd reason if you use Excel to create symbolmap.csv, the first line is ignored and the stock will not be found. The fix is to replicate the same mapping in the second line.

0P0000W9SJ is the symbol for the OP’s fund, F00000OTTB  is a different fund.

Other designations for the Clearbridge fund are BWUWI and SEDOL B7MKLS1 and ISIN GB00B7MKLS14

I must admit I can’t understand why it’s not working, just keep experimenting.

Stating the obvious just in case, the code entered in the fund details in Money and the code in the first column of symbol map must be absolutely identical.

OK, got it straight now I think.

Barney’s post re the BNY Mellon fund ap4cec is correct. It’s F00000OTTB, ISIN GB00B8GG4B61

My previous post has the correct codes for the Clearbridge fund ap8jhw - 0P0000W9SJ, BWUWI, SEDOL B7MKLS1, and ISIN GB00B7MKLS14
