Eclipse Github organisation move for technology.microprofile

Note, I plan to approve the move of MicroProfile repositories from the Eclipse organization to the MicroProfile organization before the end of the month. Emily validated the move worked as expected using the MicroProfile OpenTracing repository as a test case.

One question that was brought up during Live Hangout and Technical calls was the committer list transfer. This should move, and I will ask this question in the ticket before the approval.

Very preoccupied with the LA fires at the moment.  I don't see it in the link, but heard there was some thought to propose a vote to change the governance model we've had for 8 years.  Do you have any insight on this pending vote and will there be list discussion before hand?

Sorry, David, I missed this. Hope everything worked out OK for ya’ll with the fire situation!

You may be referring to the topic of moving from a single committer list for all specs to a "committer list per spec". It was more of a "what if" than a concrete proposal. Yeah, that would change the makeup of our working group. It was a short discussion that didn't proceed.

Based on conversations within MicroProfile, we've given the go-ahead to make the move. I"ll keep the MPWG up to date on when the move actually occurs.
