[MP twitter re-tweets] 2020 fun!

Hola Debbie, Cesar and Ryan, 3 of the 5 Admins for the MP twitter, 

Now that Debbie has familiarized herself with pushing content via MP twitter media, could you establish a proactive re-tweets from the MP handle using the informal: Social Media Standards?  Under drive MPMktg> SocialMedia_Logistics, see below. 

It seems to be important to discuss and likely see how to make better the current outline, simplification is what I mean by better. 

Handle doesn't reply to DMs, doesn't re-tweet on conversations, doesn't follow. 

The focus has been to highlight good content by #OSSDOERS who are MicroProfiler users/contributors across without focusing on anyone's personal agenda. 

-- the goal of this email is to start your attention on more active re-tweets on MP magic, without ME- first mentality and cover anyone globally. 

Please do add this topic to the agenda, if a git ticket is needed, let's go for it. Bias, I don't think we need it. 

Only the 4 of us currently push content, I mostly help with re-tweets and on the spot posts when Community Hangouts and those videos are relevant.

I’m probably better with planned tweets or content we specifically want to push- such as the conference social cards or ebooks we send out, etc, versus the on-the-spot retweeting. I’m not a regular user of Twitter, too much “noise” for me.

But I’m game to do any of the planned content as needed

Thank you Amelia for your update.

Could you please post the new password for the MicroProfileIO Twitter account to the private microprofile-twitter Google Group? You (or maybe David?) are the owners of the microprofile-twitter Google Group and the password posted in this private Google Group no longer works. It has been changed by someone. The new password needs to be shared with the rest of the MicroProfile Marketing Team. If you don't know the new password, could you please reset it and share it via the private Google Group since you also own the MicroProfileIO Twitter account?

By the way, there are 9 members in the private microprofile-twitter Google Group that you may want to update since it probably contains folks that are no longer part of the MicroProfile Marketing Team.

I understand that we have access to the MicroProfileIO Twitter account via Tweetdeck, however members of the MicroProfile Marketing Team are supposed to have the password to the MicroProfileIO Twitter account. Furthermore, there are things we can do via the Twitter account that are impossible to do via Tweetdeck.

I am back from a beautiful time OUT- vacationing!

Cesar, thank you for reminding us that the current admins with access to adjust the MP Twitter needed this group attention. 

Each one of the Admins who can adjust the twitter password directly without rushing TwitterDeck are below. 

Please confirm that this is your choice or if there is a need to adjust your access. 

I will send Twitterdeck access to those who are not yet added via that medium: Neil- check your status, pending for your approval.  Dominika, please provide feedback if you would like access to contribute too. :) 

 

Please note that you, me- us MUST avoid loggins with direct password for all contributions to the handle.   

As Cesar mentions, this Admin access  via password is ONLY for INFRA reasons and not for day-to-day use. 

If unsure, please read and own the informal COC of media_under MP drive>social media. 

Further, update your data on the  inventory sheet.  Call to action to Neil, Dominica.

by the way Cesar, again to confirm that Tomitribe didn't change the password. Please do set up the new password, it will be received via private mailing list to current Admins, each one of us must keep up with that update via our contacts, for just INFRA.

Hi Amelia,

I'd be happy to update the @MicroProfileIO Twitter password but to do so I need the current password, which nobody knows, apparently. Since you're the owner of the Twitter account, could you please reset the password using the 2FA authentication process which is probably associated to your cell number? Once you do so, could you then post it to the private Google group https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/microprofile-twitter??
