Free Travel to Devil's Dyke / Ditchling Beacon next week

Although outside of the Club's area, I noted on Saturday that the National Trust is running a promotion next week (Tuesday 26th - Sunday 31st August) allowing free travel to Devil's Dyke and Ditchling Beacon (B&H services 77 and 79 respectively). 

The offer is only valid on the mobile app, and entitles the user to one 24-hour citySAVER ticket. Various other terms and conditions apply (and the NT don't seem able to make up their mind whether they mean customer, member, or user), but it may be of interest for a day out, especially to anyone using the train or car to reach Brighton, and doesn't qualify for free travel in other ways.

All very well where there is mobile phone reception/coverage, but in areas like Devil's Dyke and Ditchling Beacon that could be risky!

Certainly never been a problem with phone service at Devil's Dyke - it's probably better than in some areas further down the hill in Brighton!

I maybe wrong, but I think the vehicles used on Route 79 have Wi-Fi. for the record I have also captured Route 79 at Ditchling Beacon earlier this year, and on a clear day you can see back into the club's area from up there.

Has anybody tried to make use of this offer and buy a ticket on the B&H app yet?

I get an error message when I apply the code of 'The price after discount is less than the minimum

amount'

I am presuming there is a minimum spend on the B&H app

It would seem there is a known issue with the app accepting the discount code, the ticket was added to my account by the B&H Customer Service team.
