Yes, the former Ashford depot was opposite Vicarage Lane [not Road] on the footprint now occupied by the Hollywood Bowl.
It is perhaps stretching things to label its departure lane as a bus station. Certainly East Kent never referred to it in those terms.
As regards M312 YSC, it arrived with East Kent in 2000, though subsequently spent some time with what was then Hastings & District before returning.
How certain is the recent attribution to Vinson? It was noted in the Faversham area in December after having been out of use for a long time in the hire fleet of Hoare, Chepstow, but a reliable source felt at the time that it was not necessarily with Vinson. There are other farmers in the Faversham area, and experience has taught us that it is not necessarily correct to assume that any farmer’s bus there is with Vinson.
