HKE 867 has, of course, an immensely lengthy and important connection to the Club, with nearly all of the part-owners being Club members.
Although it sadly had an "operational incident" later in the day - a puncture - which led to a somewhat late finish for its caretaker and driver Phil Guyan after attention on the forecourt of SE Coachworks, earlier in the day it formed my outward journey to Graveney (returning on RFN), and is seen here having dropped passengers off outside the church with a number of happy passengers remaining on board.
Coming up to its 81st birthday, I believe it was the second oldest vehicle in attendance, "beaten" only by 89-year old JG 8720.
