There's a picture posted in another group of a former Weavaway Enviro200 running Bexhill-Ore rail replacements with a company called "DB Earthmoving of Battle". I've not come across them before and it's rather an odd name. Does anybody know about them?

I'd hazard a guess that it isn't Deutsche Bahn trying to get back into UK buses post Arriva.

Yes, they’re a real  operator. DB Earth Moving and Plant Hire Ltd, Marley Lane, Battle. Licence PK2080809/N granted in June this year for 5 vehicles. So far only one reported – a Scania / Irizar coach registered C23 DBC, formerly YN08 OCS). Have you got the registration of the E200?

Gen from Busdata (see their ad in the current issue of BUSES).

This may be as convenient-a-place as any to note that Wealden Minibuses currently have former Keane Travel (but with Ensign fleetnames) KIG 1263 on loan, being a not-very mini white double decker, for use on the rail repalcement work taking place this week.

I know better than to attempt to tie Nicholas' hands, but it has been noted a fair few times in the past that pictures from East Sussex are reasonably rare, and those from non-Stagecoach operators rarer still when it comes to those offered for publication. Pictures of either of these vehicles, or indeed offerings from any other "less common" operators in East Sussex (remembering for Club purposes, that's generally those based east of the A22 and the eastern-edge of Eastbourne) may well be appreciated were they to land in the editorial inbox.

That Irizar Coach C23DBC/YN08OCS does live at the Marley Lane compound and I captured it there on Oct 25th.
