On Sunday June 7th at 19:15PM, BBC4 TV showed a program called "The Golden Age of Coach Travel" and although I didn't see all of it, I caught the last 20 minutes which included some 1960's colour footage of East Kent Coaches in London, some B&W footlage of East Kent Coaches being craned onto British Rail Ships at Dover Harbour in the 1950's, and some B&W footage of Margate in the 1950's that included some East Kent Buses Halfcabs.
I didn't check to see if the show was a reapeat, but I'm sure it will be of interest to somebody.

Yes, I did watch it last night and yes it was a repeat but well worth another look. One interesting point was the very first Coach to arrive at Victoria on the first day was an M&D,according to the programme.

Regards

That was a useful tip-off! If anyone else wants to watch it, the link is here.

An East Kent “HJG” Lancet feature at Dover Marine too - twice! Other East Kent and M&D vehicles are also visible.
