What is the maximum number of tissues??

Hello Dr. Fang,

Can you please let me know the maximum number of tissues in MCXLAB.
 
I want to create an environment with a significant number of local variations. 

Specifically, I aim to group small sets of voxels into tissues and create an environment with a large number of different tissues for a simulation. 

After that, I would like to add absorption coefficients to each tissue. 

Could you please tell me the maximum number of cfg.prop that can be used for this purpose?

MCX supports continuously varying media that is defined voxel by voxel.

However, using per-voxel based media format has an overhead, as shown by the below example

If you must use label-based media type instead of these continuous media, then, the maximum supported media number is (4000 - size(cfg.srcpos) - size(cfg.detpos)), limited by the constant memory size of the nvidia gpu.
