A beautiful coastal walk happening on Sunday 28 May 2023
Description: Silver Sands to Grootbaai
AllTrails details: Head out on this 15.1-km out-and-back trail near Overstrand NU, Western Cape. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 3 h 5 min to complete. This is a popular trail for hiking, running, and walking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.
Time and meeting place: We will meet Pringle Bay Mini Mart at 08:30, before heading past Hangklip Hotel to park at Maasbaai Slipway, from where we start walking. We turn at the Silversands sand dunes near Bettys Bay. For those that want, there are some places to have lunch in Pringle Bay afterwards, or even some other hikes.

After some weather uncertainty it seems we will have sunny (but cool) weather on Sunday, so we will go ahead.
If you intend joining, please send me your name and cell number for the WhatsApp group I will create for last minute announcements, such as meeting possibly later.
