Sorry for sending this out so late. Here are the agendas for The PROSAC Committe, (tonight 6:30pm ) and the SFRPD Commission meeting of the Capital Committee--which has some bond funding items for McLaren Park, on Wednesday and finally the Commission meeting of their Operations Committee on Thursday, May 6th. See the attached agendas for more details.

There are items on the Capital agenda includes items referring specifically to bond projects in McLaren Park, particularly the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater. If you cannot attend the meetings in person, there is a call-in option and you can see the live meeting online.

Operations has one item about the APE concerts associated with outside lands. New is that the "downtown" concert venue list would expand to the Jerry Garcia amp.

Thanks Matt for catching that.

Here's the verbiage:

"Another Planet will organize three free San Francisco concerts each year, bringing musical acts to three out of four of the following locations: Civic Center Plaza, Union Square, the Embarcadero and/or the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater. "

We should ask that Jerry Garcia Amphitheater is definitely one of the locations.

Also,

This is the discussion regarding APE that Matthew is referring to in the Operations Committee:

Free Downtown Concerts: Another Planet will organize three free San Francisco concerts each year, bringing musical acts to three out of four of the following locations: Civic Center Plaza, Union Square, the Embarcadero and/or the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater. The free concerts will be held in the Summer and/or Fall. Another Planet will be required to obtain a one-day special event permit from RPD for each concert and will not be charged a permit fee for these free concerts but as part of the permit will be required to cover City costs related to the concerts.
