Import .obj vertex colors

Hi there, as far as I know, there is no way to import vertex colors from an .obj file into MAYA.

I've seen comercial scripts to do that, but I wonder if there is another way to do it.

I didn't know OBJ files could even store vertex colors.

Is there no option to use alembic?

I'm exporting from ZBrush polypaint, and, at least with ZBrush, .abc format doesn't accept vertex colors.

I ended up exporting in FBX format, which stores vertex colors information.
