Estimating number of visitors to the area

Hi everyone:

I'm seeking information for funding pitches to help finance the store co-op, and one important element of our business plan is projecting potential revenue from nonresidents. Therefore, I'm seeking any information that can inform an estimate of the number of visitors coming through the valley. I've already reached out to BLM Kings Range office and learned that in 2025, they issued 11,470 permits for the Lost Coast Trail. I have also reached out to Zach at A. W. Way campground for numbers.

I know we have a lot of fisherfolk on the river right now, but I don't know how to estimate their numbers. Any suggestions?

For those who do short-term rentals, or who can suggest other potential sources of data for 2025 visitors, please write me directly.

A large percentage of trail hikers never see the store, because they park at shelter cove and take a shuttle to the trailhead
