Watching the news about ICE in action, you may have wondered how ICE finds the people it hires as agents.  Well, their website opens with an image of Uncle Sam saying “America has been invaded by criminals and predators. We need YOU to get them out.  You do not need a college degree.”  The Southern Poverty Law Center claims that “Homeland Security deploys white nationalist, anti-immigrant graphics to recruit,” and, if you don’t want to take their lefty word for it, you can look at an example that uses “We’ll have our home again,” a song widely regarded as white nationalist.

ICE also offers signing bonuses up to $50,000, and advertises to attract cops who are unhappy with the restraints their departments put on them.

Fits perfectly with President Trump's and his direct underlings' efforts and should not be surprising for anyone that has paid even slight attention

Important to some local residents, a substantial portion of the Mattole, some with signs using only the finest of fonts, embrace and support this trend. The ethic expressed by our government in John's posted links earns great pride and satisfaction to many, including some of our friends and neighbors.

We all see what's happening, including lying, cheating, stealing, enjoyable and carefree violence against the defenseless, murder. And because of who and what we are now, don't forget cruelty.

Many celebrate. 

I hope for a return of our US government that will be based on law and with rigorous accountability for ALL. I say this knowing that our Supreme Court has made Trump's intent and tactics easily accomplished and legal.
