You can use the SS spriral wound gasket with 316L inner ring for CS connecting flanges.
Many oil companies have that as part of their piping specifications, and it does not compromise any codes or standards.
Because you have small amounts of stainless steel in large carbon steel piping systems, you will basically not have a galvanic corrosion problem.
