PWHT Technician'sTraining Requirements

Is there any reference specifications/standards or guidelines related to
training and qualifying PWHT technicians.In the absence of above how to
document their training/qualifications.

I have dealt with a lot of PWHT guys down the years, there doesn't
appear to be any formal system of qualification. The majority of them I
know are however trained electricians and the rest just have on the job
training......

In Canada, Alberta, there are a formal Training but it's only one level "Field Heat Treatment Technician", in UK there are another in 3 levels for CSWIP "Requirements for Certification of Site and Workshop Heat Treatment Operatives"... AWS is still working in "D10.23M/D10.23, Specification for the Qualification of Personnel for Local Heat Treatment of Welds in Pipe and Tube Components"
