AWS D1.1 vs AWS B2.1

Hi there,

Can I use AWS B2.1 for identifying the material grouping while preparing AWS D1.1 WPS?

AWS D1.1 got a material grouping  and AWS B2.1 also have material grouping,  could some one please confirm  AWS D1.1 and AWS B2.1 is same grouping ?

if your answer is YES

I went  through AWS D1.1: 2020 Table 5.3 (Table 5.3 - Approved Base Metals for Prequalified WPSs (see 5.3))   found out API 5L X52 is a Group II material

Then i went to AWS B2.1   Table C.1 -- List of Base Metal Specifications—Ferrous Alloys  :  found out API 5L X52 is a Group I material.
