During Renewal ASME, AI question about MT shall be done before or after PWHT ?

Considering money in END final costs, and that MT is relativity cheap, you could use MT before and after PWHT
So, both examination can help you to verify any indication
That’s my recommendation and in your place, I schedule END in that way

RT before PWHT is what one company, I know of performs and MT after PWHT.
I Googled to find the depth of flaw detection and below is the response I received.
(I thought it was 1/8” but wanted to find out for sure before responding.)
Q: What is the maximum depth that magnetic particles can detect a discontinuity?
A: 1/4 inch, however 0.050 to 0.100 inch is a more realistic depth.
Detection will depend on current AC or DC and wet or dry.
