1. QW407.2 is the supplementary essential variable.  This applicable when impact is required. Before carrying out the PQR, u have to calculate the what is the maximum base metal /weld metal thickness expected in Production, based on this, PQR should undergo minimum 80% time cycle of the production base metal , otherwise new pqr is to be done

Dear Sir,

My case is note below FYR,

MOC : SA 516 Gr.70 N, 70 mm Thickness
Design Temperature : -28 to 121.11 degree c, Impact Test is required as per UCS-66 Curve D
PWHT (Temp: 595 Degree C Minimum, Holding Time : 2 x 132 Minutes ( Fab. + Future Service Repair)
As you said in the email below , Can I qualify the PQR with 595 Degree C Min. with a holding time of 211.20 minutes.
