failure in PV due to MIC corrosion

Dear Group

Just to share with you this indication.

It´s about a failure in the bottom zone of pressure vessel separator.

This is a thickness lost due to corrosion by bacteria or MIC as is mentioned in API 571

This indication has more than 2 meter in longitude and 0.6 meter in wide.

Nominal wall thickness 3/8".

Failure presented after 15 years in service of pressure vessel.
