Welding Consumable selection

Hi experts,

 

I am going to weld a butt of Weld neck Flange to hammer union as per ASME Sec. IX.

 

Flange material: ASTM A 694 F60

Hammer union material: AISI 4130

Process: GMAW

 

Can anybody suggest, what welding consumable shall I use?

also suggest me the preheating and PWHT for the same.

( P NO.1 G 2  ) to  ( P NO 1 G 2 or 1 " ASTM A 519 )

Use ER 70S-6 or -3 // 100% co2  // PWHT & preheat according to thickness "check ur construction code "
