What is the distance between longitudinal seam weld

Dear Exports 
I have piping to fitting welding but always we have to keeping distance between two seam welds 
Somebody said shall be 90 degree to be distance between two seam weld but I;m not sure
So, I would like to ask what is the distance between seam welds for the piping and mention the reference please ?

It is depending on size of the pipe, Min 100 MM also acceptable as per shell DEP.

Check do you've any client specification, if not follow the API1104 and the distance between the weld seams depends on application & technical data(i.e.,Dia of pipe,thk,Mat.grade,pressure ..........)
