Load on Truck for Pipe Tramsportation

Dear All,

Is there any specific load limit for pipe transportation on truck especially with reference from API.

Please suggest.

No such limit is given for truck transportation in API RP 5LT , but care should be taken during stacking to avoid deformation in pipe.

It is not only the load which matters you need to consider the type of the truck and it's capacity, then comes the load factor, further more the road conditions and the traffic that will hinder the movement.
